People are dying and their organs are getting top dollar on the open market. 
 
Cops in Detroit are on edge when case after case seem to involve people being sliced and diced for their organs. One of their own gets too close and is killed in what seems to be a message to DPD -- leave it alone!
 
Trying to make sense of it and bring the killers to justice are the most unlikely of partners -- disgraced whistleblower Brad Neta and his slightly-shady but well connected partner, Ted Harmon.
 
Though they don't see eye to eye on much, they both know that solving this increasingly disturbing crime wave is the only way they can clear their reputations and move beyond what everyone thinks of them.
 
Along the way, they deal with the deadliest and most depraved criminals they have ever encountered. Drug mules; murderous thugs; well-connected mobsters -- they will all take their shots at our unlikely heroes. 
The only question remaining is will they be able to handle the stress and put the bad guys on ice.
